Laura joined Common Flame in 2017 and enjoys singing with the Common Flame Choir and Chalice Singers. She maintains one of the church gardens and is part of a team that prepares a monthly meal for The Rising homeless shelter. Although not a UU in early childhood, Laura's parents became UUs when she was in high school, and were active members at Unity Temple in Oak Park, IL. In 2000, Laura was one of the founding members of Prairie UU Church in Parker. Laura has lived in Colorado since 1985 and enjoys hiking, gardening, and spending time with her three children and four grandchildren.
